Gianna Costanzo tore her ACL 10 seconds into her varsity career. Now she is recovered and a starting defender for Archbishop Ryan.

After 10 straight years of being defeated by Father Judge, Archbishop Ryan finally has bragging rights in the friendly inner-city rivalry.

Chris Reed never lets his team down. Reed is a senior on the Archbishop Ryan High School football team and last year when the Raiders found themselves without a starting quarterback, Reed jumped right in.

“That will be tough because you’ve been friends with these guys, you see them every day at practice and now you won’t be playing with them anymore,” Montag admitted. “Playing club ball is very competitive, you go out every week, you play in tournaments all over, Maryland or Virginia, but in high school, you play for pride. It means a lot to play with your friends, to play for your school."

Congratulations to Patrick Gleason and James Meng who earned the distinction of "Perfect Scorers" at the recent Mathletes competition at Holy Ghost.

Congratulations to the Ryan JV Softball team for going 3-0 in the Annual Andy Hafele Memorial JV Round Robin held at Ryan. The participants were Archbishop Wood, Little Flower, Nazareth Academy, and Archbishop Ryan. Each school battled Friday and Saturday to see who would go undefeated.
